AiM LCU One CAN Lambda Controller

The AIM LCU-ONE Lambda Controller monitors air/fuel ratios. Connected to a dash display (MXL2, MXG, MXP, MXS, Solo2 DL) or logger (EVO4S, EVO5), The LCU-One will perfectly tune the carburetion of your engine and maintain it at peak performance.

The LCU-One Lambda Controller is supplied with a wide band Bosch LSU 4.9 probe (designed to last for more than 100,000 km on a stock car) and is compatible with petrol (2 and 4 strokes) methanol as alcohol-based fuel engines.

This air-fuel ratio information that the CAN Lambda provides is essential for a tuner. The fuel input, power output and air-fuel ratio present in the exhaust form the basis of all fuel tuning. An engine with too much oxygen present in the exhaust is titled 'lean' and will shorten the engine's life.

Alternatively, low oxygen readings in the exhaust may represent a rich engine receiving more fuel than it needs. Seeing these figures while tuning a motorcycle allows the tuner to make fueling adjustments on the fly and determine the optimal lambda figure.

Full Control of your Engine

The LCU-One can detect lambda values from 0.65 to 1.6 (a value lower than one means a rich mixture, while a value higher than one means a lean variety), offering you an exact measurement.

LCU-One points out possible oxygen excess/lack in the carburetion by analysing the remaining oxygen, providing essential information for four strokes engines and two-stroke engines.

Configurability of Stoichiometric ratio allows LCU-One use on petrol-powered engines and diesel or alternative fuel (biofuel, ethanol).

Bosch LSU 4.9 Probe

The Bosch sensor measures the proportion of oxygen in exhaust gases of automotive engines (gasoline or Diesel).

The wideband lambda sensor LSU 4.9 is a planar ZrO2 dual cell limiting current sensor with an integrated heater. Its monotonic output signal in the range of lambda 0.65 to air makes the LSU 4.9 capable of being used as a universal sensor for lambda one measurement and other lambda ranges.

The connector module contains a trimming resistor, which defines the characteristic of the sensor.
The main benefit of the LSU 4.9 is the robust design combined with the high Bosch production quality standard.

CAN-BUS

Using CAN bus connection, the LCU-One is easy to install, whilst you can add multiple units for better engine control (one probe for each engine bank or even one probe for each engine cylinder).

The LCU-One CAN use a Can bus and is easy to install; it configures Stoichiometric point and provides Lambda value and air / dual ratio and Lambda probe temperature and diagnosis.

LCU-ONE Analogue

The LCU-One Analogue uses a serial line for programming and an analogue output proportional to lambda value. LCU-One CAN & LCU-One Analog switch on/off together with the logger to be even more user-friendly. It provides Lambda value and air/fuel ratio, and thanks to the dedicated Lambda configurator software.

LCU-One Analog allows you to configure:
Stoichiometric point
Analogue output (0-5 Volt)
