AiM EVO5 Data Logger

The AiM EVO5 Motorcycle Racing Data Logger features two multi-channel Motorsport connectors. It connects to the vehicle's ECU via CAN, RS232 or K-Line. The GPS09 Module is also included with this kit. With a range of cable lengths available to suit your requirements.
EVO5 is the evolution of the traditional Data Logger, with its compact aluminium body, EVO5 can be easily placed in any vehicle. Its configuration with Race Studio 3 software is simple and immediate.
The incoming data from your ECU via CAN, RS232 or K-Line, the internal accelerometer and gyro, and the GPS Module are all recorded by the EVO5. The unit can also accept digital or analogue inputs. Sensors can be connected to 8 configurable analogue channels, to the RPM input and up to 4 wheel speed inputs.

Two Digital Outputs

EVO5 features two digital outputs. The built-in digital outputs can be configured to automatically run external systems when an event happens. A good example would be the activation/deactivation of a cooling fan when a certain temperature is met.

CAN output

With the CAN Output, you can send messages directly to an existing CAN network to improve the range of vehicle control possibilities.

Two Multi-Channel Motorsport Connectors

Straightforward, the 37 pins connector harness supplied with the kit offers your main applications such as power, CAN, etc
A second 22 pin connector harness is available for functions like CAN2 and digital outputs. This harness is (Sold Separately) See Accessories Tab

Endless Expansion Possibilities

Add expansion modules via the built-in CAN Bus: Channel Expansion

It permits you to add 4 0.5 Volt analogue channels for pressure, Temperature Sensors and potentiometers. Two of these channels can be configured to receive digital inputs like wheel speed.

LCU-One CAN

Wideband Lambda controller LCU-One, with Bosch LSU 4.9 probe, providing all Air/Fuel data and lambda value, allows to perfectly tune the carburetion.

SmartyCam HD Cameras

The onboard cameras overlay on videos the data sampled by your logger.

Displays

To make sense of all the incoming data, the EVO5 can be connected to the GS Dash.

Memory Module

The Memory Module is a small SD Card holder that can be connected via CAN-Bus to your AiM logger to record the data during your tests.

Expand Your System

These are only some of the items that can be added to our EVO5 for incrementing the performance and the data acquired.

Configure & Analyse with Race Studio 3

Configuration

With Race Studio 3 you can create, modify, delete, import and export configurations with all channels, ECU drivers, Math channels, Display Pages, Digital outputs, Alarms, Shift Lights and all the expansions you need. You will also be able to manage the map of all your racing tracks and compare two laps by watching the video recorded by SmartyCam HD cameras.

Analysis

With Race Studio 3 you can also analyse all data recorded by EVO5 and downloaded to your PC: graphs, histograms and tables will help you study your performance, providing an objective support to avoid mistakes and improve performance.
