Aim Capteur de température à thermorésistance eau/huile

The Aim water/oil temperature sensor is the perfect addition to your setup. It monitors the temperature of your engine's coolant and oil up to 150ºC to prevent damage from overheating. Failure to operate the engine or gearbox oil within the correct temperature range can reduce efficiency, reduce power transmitted to your wheels, and drastically reduce longevity.

The water/oil temperature sensor is especially useful for performance or track vehicles to understand when to ease up on the engine, but it can also be helpful in a standard car to know if you are pushing the vehicle too hard, which may lead to problems.

The thermoresistor must be put in the cooling system/oil sump; it is recommended to install the sensor away from heat and electromagnetic interference sources such as RPM or lap receiver cables. The sensor is fully compatible with Aim loggers and dash displays.

The temperature sensor ends with a 4-pin male 719 Binder connector that features a 2kΩ 1% resistor between pins 1 and 4. To extend the length between your dash display/logger and the analogue sensor, please use the 719 - 719 patch lead, which is available in various lengths.

EVO4 / EVO4S logger / Channel Expansion are fitted with 712 connections and requires a 712 - 719 patch lead to connect these sensors.
