The microphone can be placed in any position you wish, inside or outside your vehicle and in a position where the microphone won't just pick up wind noise.

The external microphone cable is 1 metre in length and plugs directly into the recording unit 7 pin 712 binder connection labelled ECU-Mic.

Please Note: This cable is only compatible with the Rev 2.2 & 3 SmartyCam GP.
