The RPM-CAN Connector has been designed to get the RPM value from vehicles without an ECU. It has been specifically designed to work in conjunction with the PDM08 and PDM32.

NOTE: The LED on the case is there for a possible future upgrade, currently it is not designed to function at this time.

The brand new RPM-CAN Converter has been designed for use with the PDM08 and PDM32. For all engines with no ECU, this is the expansion you need. This add on has been precisely designed to get the RPM value from all vintage vehicles without an ECU.

The RPM-CAN Converter has been designed to read the RPM signal of your engine and then transmit it in a CAN message. It will transmit the RPM value on the CAN-BUS.

The RPM-CAN Converter can read the signal from the low voltage (150 to 400 V)
And a square wave signal (5 to 50 V)

• The RPM-CAN Converter may read the signal from:
• The low voltage of the coil (150 to 400V)
• A square wave signal (5 to 50V)
• Transmit the RPM value on the CAN-BUS using the following protocol:
• Rate: 1 Mbit/s
• ID CAN: 0x200
• Endianness: Little Endian
• Start Bit: 0
• Length: 32-bit
• White Wire - CAN HIGH
• Blue Wire - CAN LOW
• Red Wire - 9-15V POWER IN
• Black Wire - GND
• RPM INPUT - White Wire
