Here at AiM we want to help you reach your full potential while you're out on the track. Thats why we have put together this Ultimate Karting Kit for you.

Choose the sensors you want for your kit: M10 Water Temperature Sensor, M5 Water Temperature Sensor.

The GPS frequency has improved from 10 to 25Hz and the precision accuracy has improved from 5 feet to 2 (1.5m to 45cm in average).

Below are a couple of screenshots that explain the improvement: in blue and yellow the comparison between the "old" MyChron5 and the new MyChron5 S 2T GPS precision. As you see, the precision dramatically improves from 1.5m to 0.5m

In the following picture below you will appreciate the improvement we have made, passing from 10 to 25 data per seconds. The yellow dots show the new GPS data.

Integrated GPS

The system takes advantage from an internal wide track database, in order to automatically understand which track you are at, where and how many are the magnetic strips: without any further sensor or configuration you will automatically get lap times, predictive lap times and split times. GPS data, acquired ten times per second, are of course recorded with other signals in the internal data logger, in order to offer the possibility of a deeper analysis of your performance.

Display Screen

With 7 configurable display colours to choose from, enabling the driver to view clear & easy to read numerical read outs on track such as lap times and lap number, RPM in a configurable scale and 1 temperature value. Once back in the paddock you can scroll through all relevant data on the display: lap times, with best lap indication, max RPM and max temperature value.

The incorporated light sensor makes brightness and contrast ideal in all light conditions.

Choose optimal layout for your data

Lap and split times, best lap, RPM, gear number, track map and much more are shown in pre-configured pages; you will be able to choose the page layout you prefer to better monitor your data.

At the end of your session, you can recall the summary of your three best laps: lap time, max/min RPM, speed and temperature. For your best lap, you will also see splits and best theoretical time.

 

Shift light & alarm LEDs

Five RGB shift lights can be configured for each gear, choosing LED colour and RPM threshold values which will turn them on/off. They also allow RPM monitoring in a glance. Even alarms are managed in a very flexible way: you choose the situation that generates the alarm, the LED behaviour (blinking frequency and colour) when the alarm appears and the conditions for its switch-off.

Wireless data download with Wi-Fi connection

Download your data to your PC, look at the OnLine measures, upgrade your firmware, transmit parameters using the well-known Data Key or through fast WiFi connection.

The SmartyCam Bullet Camera provides great videos that include all the technical information that you will need to help improve your performance.

Real Time Overlays on Video

Our SmartyCam GP HD overlays all the data you need from different sources. From GPS i.e. RPM, throttle, engaged gear, acceleration, temperatures, pressures and in presence of additional sensors, and their values. All this information will be overlaid on videos in each single point of the track.

AiM SmartyCam Bullet GP HD 120° Camera

This kit also comes complete with SmartyCam GP HD 2.1 + 2.2 U Bolt Mount for the recording box and a SmartyCam GP HD 2.1 + 2.2 U Bolt Mount so you can position your camera any way you want.

The Aim Mychron Expansion is a channel multiplier in help improve your MyChron5 S 2T performance, thanks to four additional additional analogue channels and a further connection for CAN bus.

MyChron Expansion Features

The MyChron Expansion features four inputs to connect MyChron5 S 2T to an equal number of additional channels. All are easily configurable through the MyChron5 S 2T menu to sample out coming data such as:


Exhaust gas valve position sensor( very important to understand at which RPM value the exhaust port opens).

Wheel speed sensor, the first input on the left can be configured also as digital input.

No contact brake pedal position sensor.

No contact throttle pedal position sensor ( to know if and when to accelerate).

Brake pressure sensor.

Water temperature or cylinder head temperature ( PT100 thermo-resistor only).

Steering angle potentiometer ( to highlight over/under steering situations).

Brake pedal potentiometer.

Throttle pedal potentiometer.

Also included in the Kit a Super B 12v Battery

Lightweight, high-performance, safe and reliable lithium power battery especially developed for motorsport.

The battery equals a lead-acid battery of 5 to 7AH provided the alternators maximum current doesn't exceed the battery maximum charge current of 10A. Suitable for 12v systems and for use in extreme environments.
