The AiM 10mm Under Spark Plug is suitable for all MyChrons 4 & 5 S 2T. It is required to measure the cylinder head temperature of your Kart.

AiM MyChron 10mm Under Spark Plug Temperature Sensor Kart

The AiM 10mm Spark Plug thermocouple temperature sensor is used to measure the cylinder head temperature of your Kart. The sensor should be placed between the spark plug and the cylinder head.

To keep the sensor in contact with the cylinder head, you will need to remove the washer from the plug when installing the thermocouple.

While running the thermocouple along with the Kart chassis, keep it as far as possible from other cables like RPM or Lap Receiver to minimize cable interferences.

Connections

MyChron4/5 S 2T Sensors are connected to the dash using the single patch lead (supplied with the dash), which splits into 2. Spare sensors are advisable to have as a spare or to have fitted to a 2nd race engine. 

To use the sensors with an AiM MyChron expansion or EVO4 and EVO4S data loggers, you will need a 712 four-pin patch lead or to use them with an AIM TC Hub or directly to a MyChron4 or MyChron5 kart lap timer/dash logger. You will need a 712 three-pin patch lead.
