AiM Formula Steering Wheel 3

The AiM Formula Steering Wheel 3 with an integrated dash display has been specifically designed for powerboats. Measuring 270mm in diameter and a backlit display available in seven different colours, the incorporated light sensor makes brightness and contrast reliable in all light and weather conditions. The wheel is mounted using an industry-standard.

The steering wheel display keeps you constantly under control with lap times and all the values coming from your vehicles ECU, from the three-axial accelerometer and the GPS built into EVO4S/EVO5 data logger.

The formula Steering Wheel 3 is robust, comfortable and reliable. And the maximum grip is guaranteed by the shape and finish with hand-sewn shammy leather. The backlit display and waterproof structure ensure that this wheel can be used in all conditions.

Please Note: This is a display only, and must be connected to an AiM EVO4S or EVO5 Data Logger.

Individually Configurable LEDs

The Formula Steering Wheel 3 has six RGB shift lights which can be configured for each gear, choosing LED colour and RPM threshold values which will turn it on/off. Alarm LEDs are managed flexibly, you can choose the event that generates them, the LED behaviour (blinking and colour) when the alarm appears and the conditions for its switch off. A warning message can also be shown.

Easy Configuration

The shift lights and alarms can be configured in our Race Studio 3 Software. The Formula Steering Wheel swaps among pages and is fully customisable. Choose the data you want to see and create your pages displaying up to eight fields at one time.

The RPM and Lap Time page is also available to display the RPM graph, lap time and another three channels of your choosing.

For lap times you can select the rolling time, static or predictive lap time, set as an absolute value or as a difference vs. the best lap.

Highlight your Performance

A key-data summary is available at the end of each race session. The best three laps of the session with their times, min/max speed and min/max RPMs. You are also able to see a list of all the laps of the session.

Switch Buttons

The Formula Steering Wheel 3 also features switch buttons to activate four functions among the options available on your boat, like speed, traction control, neutral and so on.

Optional Paddle Shifts Available

The Formula Steering Wheel 3 is available with paddle shifts.

Expand Your System

These are only some of the items that can be added to our Formula Steering Wheel 3 for incrementing the performance and the data acquired.
