Tyre Pressure Monitoring System.

 The AiM Tyre Pressure Monitoring System kit comes with a wiring harness for four, eight or twelve sensors and a CAN receiver which is compatible for race car applications and competitions. The receiver utilises 1Mbit CAN (11bit) which has become the standard over the years for most professional ECUs, data loggers and dashboards within the motorsport and automotive sectors.

CAN Receiver

The receiver is pre-coded with 4 sensors which it will use.

Each sensor is labelled FR, FL, RR, RL for each of the wheels of the car.

Extra wheels can be clone coded that can then be used as sets of spares for pit changes.


The wire colour codes are:

+12V - Red
Ground - Black
CAN+ - Green
CAN- - White


 The AiM TPMS sensors are already pre-assigned FR, FL, RR, RL so all you need to do to is connect your sensors to the correct tyre and all the data will be recorded on the receiver and then overlay on to your dash logger.

You can add as many sensors as you like, you will need to clone a sensor using the handheld reader.

Please Note: Should you require to purchase extra sensors you will need to purchase the Handheld programming unit in order to be able to manually programme the sensors.

Not Enough

You can add to your kit a Handheld Reader / Programmer.

The hand held reader can read each wheel individually. It reads by close proximity whereas the CAN receiver uses a radio link to the sensors with the address of each sensor pre-defined as to which wheel is being measured.



TPMS Connections

 The AiM Tyre Pressure Monitoring System can be used with all of our dash display loggers (except Solo2). You can add a 4x CAN connection multiplier and a GPS module or our SmartyCam cameras to your system. See diagram below:
