The GS Dash

The AiM GS-Dash is a compact, flexible and fully configurable graphical display showing data sampled by our EVO4S.
This dash is small in dimension, which makes it particularly suitable for motorbikes. It features a five-pin binder 712 male spiral cable, which will enable you to connect your EVO4S with minimum effort.

Display

The GS-Dash can be backlit in one of seven available colours. It also features an ambient light sensor that makes brightness and contrast ideal in all light conditions.
The GS-Dash is compact in structure and features a wide 268x128 pixel display to maximise readability.

Configurable pages, shift lights & alarms

The GS-Dash can swap among pages showing lap times and data customisable to suit your needs. You can choose the data and create pages displaying up to eight fields in each. The RPM lap time page layout is available to display the RPM graph, lap time and three channels of your choice.
You can visualise the rolling time or static or predictive lap time (as an absolute value or as a difference vs the best lap).

The GS-Dash features five RGB shift lights, which can be individually configured for each gear, choosing LED colour and RPM threshold values for their activation.
Alarm LEDs work in a very flexible way. You can choose the situation that generates the alarm, the LED behaviour (blinking frequency and colour) when the alarm appears and the conditions for its switch off. You can also show a warning message.
When your session is over, you can easily recall your sampled data by your EVO4S data logger.
A critical summary is available at the end of each session, the best laps of the session with their times, min/max speed and min/max RPMs.


The EVO4S Data Logger

The AiM EVO4S is a powerful and flexible data logger equipped with a 1.3m GPS Module. Offering one connector per channel, the EVO4S samples all the information you need, data coming from your bike ECU via the specific bike cable you have selected, from the internal accelerometers and gyro and the GPS Module included in the kit.

From analogue/digital inputs, external expansions as well as predefined math channels. Sensors connect to 5 configurable analogue channels, to the RPM input and two-wheel speed inputs.

Sensors

Five fully configurable analogue channels with configurable 12-bit o-5 Volt, 0-5000 mV inputs or thermocouple input, used to sample data coming from the temperature, pressure, suspension and other sensors.
The EVO4S has 2-speed inputs, which will allow you to monitor different wheel behaviours.

Tri-axial accelerometer and gyro is a built-in inertial platform that allows you to understand oversteering, understeering, banking, etc.
2 CAN Interface allow you to send messages directly to an existing CAN network to help improve the range of vehicle control possibilities.
4GB memory
ECU interface - CAN-Bus, RS232, K-Line and OBDII
RPM input manages square wave signals transmitted by the ECU or pulse signals picked from the coil command (low voltage).


The Sensors In The Kit


Suspension Potentiometer with pop end fitting: The AiM suspension sensor (linear potentiometer) is a type of position sensor. They are used to measure displacement along a single axis, either up and down or right & left, and suitable linear potentiometers are a contacting type of sensor which means that the moving parts contact each other during use.

This kit comes with two potentiometers a 75mm and 150mm, both also come with a 712-719 1 meter patch lead.

Brake Pressure Sensor M10 0-100 Bar: The AiM M10 - 0-100 Bar brake pressure sensors have a male four pins black 719 binder plug connections to suit all AIM loggers and dash display/loggers.
Whether your bike is equipped with single, dual, fixed or adjustable master cylinders, adding brake pressure sensors allow you to monitor brake performance, make fundamental changes and identify issues quickly and precisely.

This kit comes with an M10 0-100 bar brake pressure sensor and a 712-719 1 meter patch lead.

GPS Module: The AiM GPS technology represents a true revolution in data acquisition. With our GPS software, you can immediately get lap times and all the data needed for improving your driving performance and technique.
The GPS module connects via a CAN cable which makes it quick and simple to install.

The GPS09 Module guarantees precision and reliability, working with almost twenty satellites to improve its performance.
An average of less than one-meter tolerance will determine the position when the finish line is close to another track segment.
The satellite signal is rapidly locked, meaning that the GPS Module is ready to operate after switching on.
No risk of missing signals anymore due to noise or interferences on the system.

On the track 

GPS technology represents a true revolution in data acquisition. Thanks to the lightweight and waterproof GPS Module and its GPS Manager software, you can immediately get lap times and all data needed for engine tuning and improve driving technique.
The GPS Module is fast in satellite signal acquisition and reliable in adverse situations. GPS Manager allows you to track start/finish lines and splits and download a comprehensive track database. With the GPS Module, you get essential information, i.e. chassis analysis, track position, position, speed, cornering in-line and lateral G and automatic lap times.

This kit comes with a 1.3 meter GPS module.


Configure & Analyse with Race Studio 3

Configuration

With Race Studio 3 you can create, modify, delete, import and export configurations with all channels, ECU drivers, Math channels, Display Pages, Digital outputs, Alarms, Shift Lights and all the expansions you need. You will also be able to manage the map of all your racing tracks and compare two laps watching the video recorded by SmartyCam HD cameras.

Analysis

With Race Studio 3 you can also analyse all data recorded by EVO4S and downloaded to your PC: graphs, histograms and tables will help you study your performance, providing an objective support to avoid mistakes and improve performances.
