Power Your System
The Aim SmartyCam Harness provides a constant power supply from a 12V battery system using two unterminated wires, with a female jack plug for an external microphone to be connected. The cable is available in 2 or 4 metre lengths and is compatible with the Aim SmartyCam 3 & 4 Corsa, 3 GP and 2.2 GP/GP HD.

The power cable is a useful accessory for when you want the reassurance of having the camera powered from a 12V battery system. The 3.5mm female jack plug allows you to connect an on-board radio to an intercom system (additional cable may be required depending on your radio/intercom). Essentially, the Aim SmartyCam 7-Pin External Power Cable & Female Jack Plug for External Microphone provides direct battery power supply to an Aim SmartyCam camera and a female jack plug for an external microphone connection.
Please Note: This connection cable is not required if you are connecting the SmartyCam to a logger or dash, as the power will be supplied to the camera through the CAN connection.
