Aim Taipan UC Bridge

The UC Bridge is available with a User License. The User License is designed for riders and enthusiasts who want an easy and reliable way to manage their ECU. It allows you to:

• Receive and install maps from your tuner: Flash updated or custom maps directly into the ECU.
• Monitor ECU status: View exceptions, errors, or problems logged by the Taipan system directly within the software.
• Adjust fuel injection: Apply pre-configured fuel injection corrections across different RPM ranges for smoother performance.

The Taipan ECU comes with some basic maps that already give you better performance than the stock ones. Some highly professional tuners from around the globe offer specific maps that better fit your requirements, for example, managing different exhaust tubes and two injector kits etc.

You will require the UC Bridge for the following two functions:

• Transferring new and different maps to your ECU through the User License UC Bridge.
• To receive the diagnostic information from the Taipan ECU.

Once the unprogrammed Taipan ECU has been configured with a dedicated brand or model, it cannot be changed. You will be able to modify the maps written into the ECU, but the brand or model which has been configured cannot be changed.

The UC Bridge and the UC Bridge Tuner differ mainly in their purpose and level of functionality.

The UC Bridge, intended for riders and end-users, allows you to receive maps from your tuner, flash them into the ECU, monitor system logs such as exceptions or errors recorded by Taipan, and make limited adjustments like applying fuel injection corrections across different RPM ranges.

By contrast, the UC Bridge Tuner is designed for professional tuners and workshops, unlocking full control over the ECU. It enables the creation and modification of custom maps, advanced configuration of ECU parameters, and the ability to transmit complete, tailored setups directly to the ECU.

In short, the UC Bridge is the tool for riders to use maps, while the UC Bridge Tuner is the tool for professionals to build them.
