Boost Pressure Sensor 1/8 NPT 0–50 PSI
The Aim Boost Pressure Sensor is suitable for brake, oil, fuel and water pressure readings, reading pressures up to 50 PSI. This pressure sensor measures exactly how much pressure passes through.
When dealing with an Absolute Pressure Sensor, or a Manifold Absolute Pressure (MAP) sensor, there is one key difference: it measures pressure relative to a perfect vacuum, not relative to the air around us. This means that even when the engine is off, the sensor will still show a reading (atmospheric pressure).
Why Choose the Aim Boost Pressure Sensor
The Absolute Boost Pressure Sensor 0–50 PSI is available in 1/8 NPT thread options and is fitted with a 4-pin 719 male binder connector to suit Aim loggers, dash loggers, lap timers and dash displays. Many aspects affect various engine pressures, so knowing your engine has the correct amount of pressure is paramount to longevity and performance.
Using Absolute Boost Pressure Sensors is the gold standard because it allows the engine to perform consistently regardless of location; whether you are racing at sea level or high up in the mountains.
If there is a pressure change, incorporating an Absolute Pressure Sensor into your setup will allow it to be detected and signalled to prevent the worst. You can see through live telemetry about what’s happening as the sensor turns the physical force of fluid pressure into a predictable electrical signal that can be monitored to protect your engine.
How the Boost Pressure Sensor Works
The Aim Absolute Pressure Sensor is installed directly into the air intake or boost line. Inside the sensor is a sensitive internal component, typically a thin diaphragm with a vacuum sealed behind it.
As the turbocharger or supercharger generates boost, that air pressure forces the diaphragm to flex. The sensor precisely measures this movement and converts it into an electrical voltage signal:
- Minimum Pressure (0 PSI Absolute): The sensor outputs its lowest voltage, typically 0.5 Volts (V). This represents a total vacuum.
- Maximum Pressure (50 PSI Absolute): The sensor outputs its peak voltage, typically 4.5 Volts (V).
This is a linear scale, meaning the voltage increases at the same rate as the pressure. For example, if the pressure is exactly halfway (25 PSI Absolute), the voltage will also be halfway (around 2.5V).

0-50 PSI Absolute Pressure Sensor
The pressure sensor allows you to detect fluid and air pressures. It offers a high level of reliability and endurance and is protected against the high vibration, shock and high temperatures found in motorsport.
These pressure sensors are available with a choice of PSI and Bar variants.

Compatible with MoTeC, Bosch & More
We also offer unterminated sensor that are designed to work seamlessly with Bosch, MoTeC, Cosworth, or other manufacturer hardware, making it easy for you to integrate the reliable and efficient Aim Pressure Sensors into any setup.

Expand Your System
You can expand your system with a range of products from the ACC3 Analogue CAN Converter, Displays and Loggers, Data Hubs and more.
To extend the length between a dash display/logger and an analogue pressure sensor, you will need a 719-719 patch lead, available in lengths between 0.5m and 4m.
