Power Your System
The Aim SmartyCam CAN Bus Cable provides a constant power supply from an external Aim device, with an integrated microphone to improve sound quality from your SmartyCam footage. The cable is available in 2 or 4 metre lengths and is compatible with the Aim SmartyCam 2.1 HD models.
Why Choose the SmartyCam Microphone Power Cable
This connection cable is required if you are connecting the SmartyCam 2.1 camera to a logger or dash, as the power will be supplied to the camera through the CAN bus connection. It features a 7-pin and 5-pin 712 male binder on either end to connect the devices. The integrated microphone can be placed in any position you wish, inside or outside your vehicle and in a position where the microphone won't just pick up wind noise.
Please Note: The Aim SmartyCam 7-Pin to 5-Pin CAN Bus Cable & Integrated Microphone is ONLY compatible with the SmartyCam 2.1 models. It cannot be used with newer SmartyCam models.
