The Aim Multi-Point Belt Temperature System is a high-precision, non-contact sensor designed to monitor drive belt surface temperatures in karting, UTVs, and off-road motorsport. Unlike standard sensors that provide a single average reading, this advanced unit utilises a 16-point thermal array to map temperatures across the entire width of the belt.

By detecting infrared radiation across 16 distinct zones, the Infrared Belt Temperature System (IBTS) Sensor provides a comprehensive "heat map" of the belt's surface, translating live data into actionable insights without physical contact.

How the Multi-Point Temperature Sensor Works

The Aim IR Temperature Multi-Point Sensor is mounted a few centimetres from the belt surface. As the belt spins, the 16-point window captures a detailed thermal profile. This data is streamed to your Aim logger or dash, where it can be used to:
