Kart Steering Angle Sensor

The Aim Steering Angle Sensor Kit is suitable for use with all Aim MyChron Kart Lap Timers/Data Loggers; the MyChron 6, 6 2T, 5S, 5S 2T and 4. It comes with a bracket for easy installation and is ideal for 1 revolution karting setups.

Why Choose the Steering Angle Rotary Potentiometer

The Steering Angle Rotary Potentiometer measures and records the driver’s steering input using a sensor (rotating potentiometer) to measure the displacement between two points. Using the Steering Angle Sensor, you can see where the driver is losing time due to steering angle; too much or too little at each corner.

Kart Steering Angle Sensor Connections

The Kart Steering Angle Sensor is available with or without a 712-719 male to female 4-pin patch lead, which is required to connect the sensor to a MyChron Expansion for the MyChron 5S, 5S 2T, and 4. For the MyChron 6 and 6 2T, the sensor will connect via a 712-712 male to female 4-pin patch lead with the ACC3 719 harness connectors.
