EVO6 Features

The EVO6 features 8 fully configurable analogue inputs compatible with a wide range of sensors, including temperature, pressure, and more, along with 4 speed inputs and coil RPM acquisition for precise monitoring of vehicle speed and engine performance. An integrated 25Hz GPS module delivers highly accurate lap timing and track positioning, while the 100Hz 3-axis IMU (±5G) captures acceleration, braking, and cornering forces in detail for deeper insight into vehicle dynamics and driver input.

Built-in Wi-Fi and Bluetooth enable fast, cable-free configuration and data download, while expandable SD card storage of up to 128GB allows longer recording sessions without compromise. All of this is housed within a compact anodised aluminium enclosure designed to withstand the demands of extreme racing environments.

A Range of Data Sources

The EVO6 can sample all the data you need from a wide range of sources, including your vehicle ECU via CAN, RS232 or K-line, as well as from the internal accelerometers and gyro, and the GPS09 receiver included in all available kits. Additional data can also be acquired through analogue and digital inputs, external expansions, and predefined math channels.

Sensors can be connected to 8 configurable analogue channels, the RPM input, and up to 4-wheel speed inputs, making the EVO6 ideal for advanced vehicle data acquisition and analysis.

EVO6 connection ports

Connection Type

The EVO6 features two multi-channel motorsport connectors designed for simple and reliable installation. A high-quality wiring harness manages all connections through a 37-pin connector for main functions such as power, CAN, and the Aim CAN network, along with a 22-pin connector dedicated to additional functions, including CAN2, digital outputs, and more.

Digital & CAN Outputs

The EVO6 Data Logger features two low-side digital outputs (switch to ground), which can be configured to automatically switch external systems on or off based on the value of analogue or digital inputs. This allows automatic control of devices such as additional lights, cooling fans, circulation pumps, and other accessories when specific conditions or events occur.

The EVO6 also includes CAN Output functionality, allowing messages to be sent directly to an existing CAN network to expand vehicle monitoring and control capabilities.

Sensor Compatibility

Sensors can be connected to the EVO6 Data Logger via:

  • 8 analogue channels with configurable inputs or thermocouple inputs, with a max frequency of 1,000Hz each, used to sample data coming from temperature, pressure, suspension and other sensors.
  • 4 speed inputs, which allow you to monitor the different wheels' behaviours.
  • 1 RPM input, which manages square wave signals transmitted by the ECU, or pulse signals picked from the coil command (low voltage).
