Infrared Lap Timer

The Aim Infrared (IR) Optical Lap Receiver is a motorsport sensor that detects infrared light signals from a trackside transmitter to precisely record lap times. Available with a 4-pin 719 push-on plastic binder or a 712 screw-on metal binder, the IR Lap Receiver provides a strong and reliable connection.

Why Choose the Aim IR Optical Lap Receiver

The Infrared Optical Receiver, also known as an IR Optical Lap Receiver, is mounted on your vehicle to detect lap signals from an infrared transmitter located at the side of the track. Its strong signal guarantees almost no missing laps because it "bounces" off nearly any obstacle.

IR Optical Lap Receiver Installation

Install the receiver on the vehicle, fixing it to the chassis through the fixing hole at the top of the receiver. For accurate signal detection, aim the receiver toward the transmitter's position.

The Infrared Receiver is available with a 90cm cable for motorcycles, motocross bikes or karts, and is also available with a 300cm cable for cars to suit your setup.
