From junior racing to elite motorcycle engineering, Aim’s cutting-edge technology is trusted by thousands of racing teams and manufacturers worldwide.
Whether you want to enhance driver development, improve vehicle diagnostics or integrate advanced data and video solutions, Aim’s OEM partnerships help push the limits of performance across motorsport disciplines. Let’s take a closer look at some of the OEM projects where Aim products have played a pivotal role.
Ginetta
One of the most iconic vehicles in junior racing, the Ginetta G40 has played a pivotal role in shaping the careers of aspiring motorsport talents. Recognised by motorsport teams worldwide, Aim has proudly partnered with Ginetta for over 15 years, providing cutting-edge data loggers and dashes that enhance vehicle health monitoring and driver performance insights.
Data-Driven Performance
At the heart of this collaboration is Race Studio 3 analysis software; a crucial tool for leveraging real time data to refine skills, optimise car setup and gain a deeper understanding of on-track performance.
This data can also be overlaid and compared against teammates’ data, allowing for individual growth while strengthening overall team performance. This not only accelerates driver development, but also ensures that crucial vehicle parameters are monitored effectively.
SmartyCam Integration
In recent years, Ginetta has incorporated SmartyCam 3 motorsport camera systems into their setup, adding another dimension to performance analysis. By syncing high-quality video footage with driving data, drivers gain invaluable visual feedback, making it easier to identify areas for improvement.
Norton
Aim partnered with Norton Motorcycles on a highly innovative project – the V4 Project. In early 2019, Norton faced a unique challenge: during a major transition of staff and critical information, they found themselves unable to progress with production. To overcome this, they required a partner capable of reverse-engineering the entire electrical framework of their V4 motorcycles. We stepped in to provide a fully customised solution, replacing the existing system with advanced electronic modules and a bespoke dashboard.
Bespoke System Design
By reverse-engineering the bike’s electronic system, we were able to extract key performance data and integrate it into a superior, custom-branded solution. This not only improved functionality, but also gave Norton a high-quality, white-label product designed to their exact specifications. The result was an improved dash and CAN modules, enhancing the bike’s operational efficiency while maintaining a seamless aesthetic.
Command Solutions
Beyond restoring the electrical framework, we introduced a series of innovative features to Norton’s V4 system. One of the standout upgrades was the integration of a reverse camera, which can be activated directly from the handlebars and displays the rear view on the dashboard. We also incorporated a variety of CAN modules and switches beneath the bike to streamline various commands, ensuring the V4’s electrical system is more efficient and future-proofed for modern riding demands.
Noble Automotive
In 2022, Noble Cars enlisted Aim to completely re-engineer the M500’s electrical systems. From wiring looms to body control modules, every electrical component was replaced with a bespoke solution, accompanied by new firmware designed to enhance vehicle performance and ensure a flawless OEM finish.
Advanced Redesign
After their initial prototype, Noble realised they needed to reverse-engineer the entire engine and chassis wiring looms, power distribution, body control, HVAC systems, door-control modules and dashes. They approached us to take on the challenge of refining and enhancing the vehicle’s electrical architecture from the ground up.
Bespoke Components
To ensure a seamless and modern OEM finish, we replaced all electrical components with custom-designed parts. A completely new firmware was developed to eliminate system issues, improve vehicle health and ensure peak performance, making the M500 a standout model in Noble’s lineup.
MK Indy Cars
MK Indy Cars chose Aim for our innovative designs and highly customisable interfaces. They integrate the MXS Strada into their vehicles, allowing for custom graphics, personalised layouts and assigned inputs and outputs, including ECU data.
Tailored Displays
With a smaller production scale, MK Indy Cars undergo Small Vehicle Approval processes, which are streamlined by Aim’s road-legal icons. Encased in billet aluminium, the MXS Strada provides a high-end finish that complements the vehicles’ premium aesthetic.
Seamless Collaboration
Working with MK Indy Cars has been an inspiring experience, as their dedication to innovation perfectly aligns with Aim’s MXS Strada displays. Their focus on custom graphics and layout customisation highlights the versatility of our technology, making this partnership a particularly rewarding one.
Lotus
In 2020, Lotus UK approached Aim with a challenge involving a stocking issue with their original dashboards. Working closely with their team, we developed and supplied fully bespoke dashes for the Final Edition Lotus Elise and Exige models from 2020 to 2022.

Tailored Specification
Our role included creating custom graphics, enhancing functionality and tailoring specifications to meet Lotus’s exact requirements. By advancing the original stock dashes, we delivered a product that was not only more cost-effective, but also aesthetically refined and performance-enhancing.
Production Expansion
To support production demands, we expanded our facilities, ensuring we could provide a seamless and high-quality solution for Lotus’s final editions of these iconic vehicles.
Radical Motorsport
As long-standing partners Aim partners, Radical Motorsport continues to push the boundaries of track racing with the launch of their latest models – the SR1 XXR, SR3 XXR, SR10 XXR and the RXC. These vehicles showcase precision engineering, lightweight design and cutting-edge technology, making them formidable competitors in every category.
Race Analytics
Aim’s Race Studio 3 Analysis software has been instrumental in Radical’s product development, testing and driver training. By capturing data from various sensors and CAN channels, teams can overlay different laps and runs, compare driver inputs and fine-tune performance using synchronised SmartyCam 3 footage.
Advanced Cockpit Setup
Each Radical model is equipped with a variety of Aim products, including:
- MXS Display Logger – A 5” digital dashboard with integrated shift lights and compatibility with over 100+ industry ECUs.
- SmartyCam 3 – Featuring GPS, mic inputs and picture-in-picture analysis, helping drivers refine their technique.
- Formula Steering Wheel 4 – Offering an LCD display, shift paddles and real time vehicle control.
- CAN Bus Keypads & Sensors – Providing additional data for precise vehicle performance monitoring.
