Aim Oljetrykksensor 1/8 NPT 0–150 PSI

The Aim 0-150 PSI Pressure Sensor is available in 1/8 NPT thread options and is fitted with a 4-pin 719 male binder connector to suit Aim loggers, dash loggers, lap timers and dash displays. Many aspects affect various engine pressures, so knowing your engine has the correct amount of pressure is paramount to longevity and performance.

If there is a pressure change, incorporating a pressure sensor into your setup will allow it to be detected and signalled to prevent the worst. You can see through live telemetry about what’s happening as the sensor turns the physical force of fluid pressure into a predictable electrical signal that can be monitored to protect your engine.

The Aim Oil Pressure Sensor is screwed directly into the engine block or oil gallery using its 1/8 NPT threaded fitting. Inside the sensor is a rugged internal component, typically a stainless steel diaphragm.

As the oil pump circulates oil through the engine, the force of the oil pushes against this diaphragm, causing it to flex. The sensor precisely measures this movement and converts it into an electrical voltage signal:

• Low Pressure (0 PSI): The sensor outputs a baseline voltage, typically 0.5 Volts (V).
• High Pressure (150 PSI): The sensor outputs its maximum voltage, typically 2.5 Volts (V).

This is a linear scale, meaning the voltage climbs steadily as the pressure rises. For example, if the oil pressure is exactly halfway (75 PSI), the voltage will also be halfway between the minimum and maximum (exactly 1.5V). This electrical signal is what the vehicle’s data logger or ECU (engine computer) records to ensure your engine stays properly lubricated.
