AiM EVO4S Data Logger

The AiM EVO4S is a powerful and flexible data logger and comes equipped with a GPS Module. Offering one connector per channel the EVO4S samples all the information you need for improving your bike and rider performance.

Add mountain bike suspension potentiometers, which are used to measure the displacement between two points. The potentiometer can measure linear displacements like dampers compression or extension and steering rotation measured through rack displacement. The potentiometers are sold separately and available in 200mm and 250mm in rose joint fittings.


Sensors

5 fully configurable analogue channels with configurable 12-bit o-5 Volt, 0-5000 mV inputs or thermocouple input, used to sample data coming from the temperature, pressure, suspension and other sensors.
2-speed inputs which will allow you to monitor different wheel behaviours.
Tri-axial accelerometer and gyro is a built-in inertial platform that allows you to understand oversteering, understeering and banking etc.
2 CAN Interface allow you to send messages directly to an existing CAN network to help improve the range of vehicle control possibilities.

Add optional expansion modules

You can add optional expansion modules via the built-in CAN bus.

Channel Expansion: Permits to add 4 0-5volt analogue channels for pressure, temperature sensors and potentiometers (suspension, steering angle). Two of these channels can be configured to receive digital inputs like wheel speed.

TC Hub: Adds up to four "K" type thermocouple temperature sensors.

LCU-One Lambda Controller: Wideband Lambda controller LCU-one, with Bosch LSC 4.9 probe provides air/Fuel data, lambda value and exhaust gas temperature.

SmartyCam HD/GP HD Cameras: Onboard cameras that overlay onto all your videos all the data sampled by your logger.

Configure & Analyse with Race Studio 3

Configuration

With Race Studio 3 you can create, modify, delete, import and export configurations with all channels, ECU drivers, Math channels, Display Pages, Digital outputs, Alarms, Shift Lights and all the expansions you need. You will also be able to manage the map of all your racing tracks and compare two laps watching the video recorded by SmartyCam HD cameras.

Analysis

With Race Studio 3 you can also analyse all data recorded by EVO4S and downloaded to your PC: graphs, histograms and tables will help you study your performance, providing an objective support to avoid mistakes and improve performances.
