Aim EVO4s Downhill Mountain Bike Data Logger Kit is the evolution of the traditional data logger that over the years, has become a standard de facto acquisition system in a huge amount of racing championships.
The Kit includes: Aim EVO4s Data Logger, 2 x patch leads to connect everything together, 1 x Light weight Lipo Battery and a Hall Speed sensor. There is the additional option of our superb video logger the Smartycam 84 Bullet camera which will show all your data on a video for superb analysis of your performance.

The new powerful and flexible Evo4s Downhill Bike Racing Data Logger is the evolution of the well known Aim EVO4. It maintains the same connection logic, one connector per channel, but with a completely redesigned internal electronic board, fully compatible with the last generation of Aim dashloggers and with the new powerful Race Studio 3 software.

A wide range of sources for your data
The EVO4s Mountain Bike Data Logger samples all the information you need from your bike sensors.
Mountain Bike Suspension Potentiometers are available for Front 200mm, and 250mm and for the rear 75mm and 100mm. Used measure the displacement between two points using a sensor (linear potentiometer) directly connected to the points of measure. This potentiometer can measure linear displacements like dampers compression or extension and steering rotation measured through the rack displacement
Internal three-axial accelerometer and gyro sensor
A built-in inertial platform lets you have the most powerful system for understanding oversteering, understeering, banking, etc.
Aim EVO4s GPS08 Module
GPS technology represents a true revolution in racing data acquisition. Now, thanks to GPS08 Module and Race Studio 3 software, as soon as you start your track session you can immediately sample lap and split times as well as speed, position and acceleration… all the information needed for improving your riding technique.
GPS 08 is more precise than most of the existing GPS systems, as it has been designed to add to the GPS satellite’s signal the Global Navigation Satellite (Glonass) system’s signal. With an average of almost twenty satellites working in conjunction, GPS 08 guarantees a precision and a reliability simply not comparable to the old generation GPS systems
The GPS 08 Module included in the Aim EVO4s kit, provides the following information, updated ten times per second:
- Position (latitude, longitude, altitude)
- Longitudinal acceleration
- Lateral acceleration
If EVO4S knows the finish line of the track and the split coordinates, it can calculate and show:
- Lap Times
- Split times
EVO4S features a 1 amp at 12 volts digital output. You can configure it in order to turn it on or off depending on the value of the analog or digital inputs, expansion values, GPS information or math channels.
Download your EVO4s data to a pc for professional data analysis.
Data recorded by EVO4s can be downloaded to PC and analysed with the professional Race Studio Analysis software graphs, histograms and tables will help you evaluate your performance, providing an objective support to avoid mistakes and improve your driving technique.
