The Ultimate MyChron 6 Pro Kit
The MyChron 6 Pro Kit expands on the Club Kit by adding advanced tyre temperature and engine tuning capabilities for drivers looking for deeper performance analysis. Designed for competitive club racers, testing programmes, and serious driver development, the Pro Kit delivers a more complete view of kart balance, grip levels, and engine efficiency.
The kit includes the MyChron 6 display and logger, dual ACC3 Analogue CAN Converters, expanded splitter harnesses, four infrared tyre temperature sensors, and support for an optional Lambda LCU sensor for air-fuel ratio analysis.
Why Choose the MyChron 6 Pro Kit
The Pro Kit is built for drivers and teams who want to move beyond basic telemetry and understand how both the kart and tyres are performing throughout a session. By combining driver inputs, engine monitoring, and live tyre temperature analysis, the system provides valuable insight into chassis balance, tyre loading, and setup changes.
This allows drivers to make more informed decisions on tyre pressures, chassis setup, driving style, and engine tuning using measurable data rather than driver feel alone.
Advanced Sensor Integration
With dual ACC3 Analogue CAN Converters and expanded harness capacity, the Pro Kit supports a wider range of simultaneous sensor inputs. This enables complete telemetry logging across engine performance, driver inputs, and tyre behaviour without compromising expandability.
The upgraded harness configuration is designed to support larger sensor packages while maintaining a clean and reliable installation.
Your Key Advantages
The MyChron 6 Pro Kit provides a more detailed understanding of kart performance by combining tyre temperature analysis with traditional telemetry data. Drivers can identify balance issues across the chassis, monitor how tyres are working throughout a run, and evaluate how setup changes affect grip and consistency.
The additional engine analysis capabilities also help improve tuning precision, reliability, and overall performance during testing and race weekends.

Infrared Tyre Temperature Sensors
The Pro Kit includes four infrared tyre temperature sensors to continuously monitor tyre surface temperatures in real time. This provides valuable insight into tyre performance, chassis balance, and track conditions throughout a session.
By analysing temperature distribution across all four tyres, drivers and teams can better understand:
- Grip levels and tyre loading
- Chassis balance and handling characteristics
- Tyre pressure effectiveness
- Changes in track conditions over a race run
Tyre temperature data is especially valuable when fine-tuning setup changes and improving consistency over longer sessions.

Exhaust Gas Temperature (EGT) Sensors
EGT sensors provide valuable insight into engine performance and tuning, particularly in 2-stroke kart engines. Monitoring exhaust temperature helps drivers identify lean conditions, improve carburettor setup, and maintain more consistent engine performance throughout a session.
EGT monitoring is also an important safeguard against overheating and potential engine damage.

Throttle Sensors
Throttle position sensors allow drivers to analyse throttle application throughout the lap. This makes it easier to identify hesitation on corner exits, unnecessary lifting, or inconsistent throttle usage in high-speed sections.
By comparing data between laps, drivers can develop smoother, more confident, and more repeatable driving habits.

Position & Brake Sensors
Brake and position sensors provide detailed feedback on braking behaviour and driver inputs. Analysing brake traces can help drivers improve braking consistency, refine corner entry technique, and reduce unnecessary coasting or over-braking.
This data is especially valuable for developing repeatable lap times and improving overall performance.

Water Coolant Temperature Sensors
Water coolant temperature sensors monitor engine operating temperatures and cooling system performance throughout a session. This helps drivers identify overheating issues, track temperature trends in changing conditions, and optimise radiator setup and airflow management.
Consistent coolant monitoring is an important part of maintaining both engine reliability and performance.
Optional Lambda LCU Sensor
The optional Lambda LCU sensor adds real-time air-fuel ratio monitoring for advanced engine tuning and performance analysis. By measuring combustion efficiency directly, the Lambda sensor provides highly accurate fuelling data that goes beyond traditional temperature-based tuning methods.
This allows drivers and tuners to optimise carburettor setup, monitor mixture consistency, and improve overall engine efficiency while reducing the risk of running excessively lean or rich conditions.

Data Analysis with Race Studio 3
All data recorded by the MyChron 6 and sensors can be analysed using Race Studio 3. The software allows drivers to review laps, compare driving inputs, analyse engine temperatures, and study GPS track maps in detail.
By turning telemetry into actionable insights, Race Studio 3 helps drivers understand performance differences and make smarter decisions both on and off the track.
