Non-Contact Laser Ride Height Sensor

The non-contact Laser Ride Height Sensor can withstand the harsh environments of motorsport.
The miniature sensor has a small visible laser that reflects off the tracks surface to a precision CCD detector, determining the height from the ground.

Laser sensors measure distances without contact using laser radiation. It is ideal for measuring distances between moving objects.
With a 60 - 260mm measurement range, the sensor is ideal for use on all types of vehicles. A measurement rate of 1KHz and linearity of 0.1% ensures a fast and accurate recording of your real-time car data.
The ride height sensor is made with a robust aluminium casing and will protect against high vibration and temperature.
In the event of any damage, you can replace the plastic lens.

The lasers are classified for Laser Class 2, and the Laser operation is indicated by LED state.

Connections

MXS / MXP / MXG / MXL (Strada and Pista) / MXL2 / EVO5 / MXm etc harnesses are fitted with 719 connections. To extend the length between your dash display/logger and the analogue sensor, please use the 719-719 patch lead, which is available in various lengths from 0.5 - 3 metres. For most installations, you will need one of these leads.

EVO4 / EVO4S logger / Channel Expansion are fitted with 712 connections and require a 712-719 patch lead to connect these sensors.
