Accurate Lap Timing, Real Time & Post-Session Review

The Solo 2 DL lap timer provides key information: lap times, lap count, delta times and predictive lap times. With over 4,000 tracks already loaded onto the database from across the globe, you can automatically select your nearest track based on your current position.

Log your vehicle’s ECU data for reviewing after a race day to help improve driver performance or vehicle set-up, and capture every lap in full HD and overlay lap and ECU data onto the footage for the ultimate lap-by-lap review.

Multiple Configurations

Constant braking, turning, and enormous rotational forces can lead to incredibly high-temperature build-up in the tyres. The TPMS is the ultimate tool for alerting drivers to a change in tyre pressures and providing data on how the tyre pressures alter throughout your races.

All sensors are pre-programmed in-house to be Set 1, Set 2, or Set 3 (or more if required), and these can be changed as needed with the Handheld Programming Unit.

The Solo 2 DL can also receive up to 10 configurations at one time, allowing you to switch among them through keys. Sample your data, including RPM, engine load, throttle position (TPS), oil, air, water temperature, oil pressure, battery voltage, speed, gear and lambda value (air/fuel).

Advanced Lap Times & Performance Analysis

The Aim Solo 2 DL is the most precise GPS lap timer in the world. With the ability to show your live delta times as you drive. Receiving data from 2 satellite constellations, GPS and Glonass, it also gives you a significant improvement in data, speed, and positioning precision.

Powering on requires only a few seconds, and lap times are calculated within 2/100 sec of tolerance.

The Solo 2 DL gives instant speed, timing, splits, live data and predictive lap times, and can be backlit in 8 available colours.

Predictive Lap Timer

The Aim Solo 2 DL has 10 configurable RGB LEDs and will give you a clear and fast indication of the comparison with your last lap. The predictive page also shows the predicted lap time in the format you set. You can custom-build the layout of the display to show the information you choose on four reconfigurable pages; your data, your way.

Tyre Pressure Monitoring System

The Aim Tyre Pressure Monitoring System comes with a wiring harness, 4, 8, 12, 16, 20, or 24 sensors, and a CAN Receiver, which is compatible with race car applications and competitions.

The CAN Receiver utilises 1Mbit CAN (11bit), which has become the standard over the years for most professional ECUs, data loggers and dashboards within the motorsport and automotive sectors. The receiver is pre-coded with 4 sensors, and each sensor is labelled FR, FL, RR, and RL for each of the wheels of the car. All you need to do is connect your sensors to the correct tyre and all the data will be recorded on the receiver. You can overlay all of this data straight to your dash logger. Extra wheels can be clone-coded and used as sets of spares for pit changes, just clone a sensor manually using the Handheld Programming Unit.

Coil RPM Input

The Solo 2 DL features a digital input, allowing you to log RPM from square wave signals (8-50V each signal), pulse signals (150-450V), ignition, and coil trigger-primary circuit.

Expand Your System

While the standard CAN Receiver uses a precise radio link to all your sensors, with the address of each sensor pre-defined as to which wheel is being measured, the Handheld TPMS Programmer lets you read each wheel individually when in close proximity.

You can also attach a SmartyCam 3 to your kit, so when you log all your ECU data and merge it with your GPS information, you can transmit everything to your camera’s graphical overlay in Race Studio 3, synchronising all of your data over video.

Connections & Expansions

The Aim Tyre Pressure Monitoring System can be used with all our dash display loggers. You can add a 4x CAN connection multiplier and a GPS module or our SmartyCam cameras to your system.
