This plug & play kit with the Solo 2 DL gives you the ultimate track day experience. It includes the Solo 2 DL, 2 suspension potentiometers, an analogue CAN converter (ACC), a brake pressure sensor and a motorcycle-specific plug & play cable.

Plug & Play Compatibility

Building on the features of the Aim Solo 2 model, the Solo 2 DL motorcycle plug & play kit connects directly to your motorcycle's ECU to record vital engine data, without the need for complex wiring. Please refer to the user guide on how to connect the ECU cable to your motorcycle.

The plug & play cable currently fits the following bike models:

Please Note: For these models, Aim recommends not to remove the stock dash. Doing so will disable some of the motorcycle's functions or safety controls.

Solo 2 DL: A data logging lap timer that handles an ECU input with a CAN expansion port that you can connect a SmartyCam to.
Bike Plug & Play Cable: The kit comes with a specific cable to connect the Solo 2 DL to the bike model that you have selected to relay all vital ECU information.
Brake Pressure Sensor: Brake pressure sensors are used to measure how much force is applied by the rider to the brake. When combined with suspension potentiometers, you can get a greater understanding of your bike setup.
Suspension Potentiometer: Measures the travel of the suspension forks on your motorbike to understand your suspension setup.
ACC (Analogue CAN Converter): Adds four freely configurable analogue/digital channels without occupying or modifying the existing system channels.

Predictive, Theoretical & Delta Times

Delta times provide instant feedback on your performance, showing how your current timing compares to your best.

The Solo 2 DL’s GPS technology provides better reliability from the predictive lap timing function, so you can see in real time how your current lap compares to your best lap. It also features a theoretical lap timing mode which pieces together your overall best sector times to provide an optimal lap time that could be achieved. Timing information can also be shown in a delta format which gives a representation of how much quicker or slower you are compared to your best lap.

At the end of your test, you can review all the key information on your display or download to our free Race Studio 3 software for more comprehensive analysis.

Showcase of the Solo 2 DL backlight colour options

Advanced Display, Track Recognition & Easy Connection

The Solo 2 DL has a sharp, high-contrast display which helps sailors easily identify the data displayed on screen, as well as 8 different backlight colours.

Thousands of pre-loaded worldwide maps are available, the lap timer automatically recognises your position as soon as it's switched on. Once you start to go, it automatically recognises the start line coordinates and starts sampling lap times every time you go past.

The Solo 2 DL allows you to create a new temporary or permanent track layout too. Even if there is no map already, the device will create one for you.

Suspension Potentiometer

The Suspension Potentiometer sensor allows you to measure linear displacements such as dampers compression or extension, and steering rotation measured through the rack displacement.

The Suspension Potentiometers are available with a rose joint or a pop end.

Brake Pressure Sensor

The brake pressure sensor allows you to detect fluid and air pressures. It offers a high level of reliability and endurance and is protected against the high vibration, shock and high temperatures found in motorsport.

These brake pressure sensors are available in a range of sizes as well as PSI and Bar variants.

ACC3: The Compact Analogue CAN Converter

Like all Aim devices, the Aim ACC3 is built for motorsport applications. Its compact design ensures easy installation across a range of racing vehicles, while its robust construction guarantees reliability in demanding environments. When combined with Race Studio 3 software, the ACC3 unlocks powerful configuration and analysis tools, including suspension analysis with Aim Eclipse sensors and video synchronisation with SmartyCam 3 cameras.

The ACC3 supports up to 4 analogue inputs with frequencies up to 200Hz, offering compatibility with a wide variety of sensors:
