Easy Connection

The Solo 2 DL can be connected to the vehicle's ECU to obtain various data from the sensors you have fitted to your vehicle. Solo 2 DL manages all the hardware ECU connections and all the communication lines: depending on whether you want to connect to the ECU using the OBDII port or directly to the ECU through the CAN/RS232 channel. If the ECU protocol is not supported, connection to the Solo 2 DL via a coil RPM will provide a digital input delivered from square wave signals or pulse signals.

The sampled data you record depends on the actual ECU. Typically it includes RPM, engine load, throttle position (TPS), oil, air, water temperature, oil pressure, battery voltage, speed, gear and lambda value (air/fuel). The list of ECUs is constantly updated.

Data Recall On Screen

Solo 2 DL can be used for circuit racing and point to point or regularity events and performance tests such as 0-60mph. And just like the circuit racing mode, all the data is recorded and can be reviewed immediately after each race or test session.

Solo 2 DL Track Database

The Solo 2 DL Lap Timer includes valuable information about the track. Thanks to the thousands of pre-loaded track maps worldwide, the lap timer automatically recognises your position on the track as soon as it's switched on. Once you start to drive, it automatically recognises the start line coordinates of the track and starts sampling lap times every time you go past.

Whether it's used for point-to-point runs for rallying or a closed-loop track, the Solo 2 DL allows you to create a new temporary or permanent track layout too. Even if there is no track already, the device will create one for you.

With Race Studio 3, you can create, modify, delete, import and export configurations with all channels, ECU drivers, Math channels, Display Pages, Digital outputs, Alarms, Shift Lights and all the expansions you need. You can also manage the map of all your racing tracks and compare two laps by watching the video recorded by the SmartyCam HD camera.

Analysis

Race Studio 3 also allows you to download and analyse all data recorded by your Solo 2 DL to your laptop/PC. With graphs, histograms and tables, you can study your lap and sector times to refine racing lines and braking points to enhance your racing performance.
