Data Logging Steering Wheel
The Aim Formula Steering Wheel 4 GT320/GT350 is our most advanced steering wheel to date. It has an internal data logger with complete configuration, removable grips, rotary switches and a long list of fully compatible ECU and CAN connectivity options.
Why Choose the GT320/350 Steering Wheel
The Aim Formula Steering Wheel GT320/GT350 is used for GT and closed cockpit cars where space is at a premium. The internal data logger is fully configurable and suitable for many different motorsports. It has been designed to acquire and display data coming from the ECU with over 1,000 fully compatible ECU protocols.
Our Formula wheels come in a range of sizes (270, 280, GT320 & GT350). The difference between the Formula Steering Wheel 4 GT320 and the GT350 is the overall size of the wheel; the Formula Steering Wheel GT350 is 30mm larger to meet every driver's requirements.
Easy Connection
Connecting the Aim Formula Steering Wheel GT320/GT350 to your ECU is simple. You can choose between an Aim Harness or craft your own harness using the existing Deutsch cable connected to the module.
You can sample dozens of channels straight from the vehicle ECU. This is usually the quickest and easiest setup, needing only a cable connection to the ECU instead of multiple connections and analogue sensors.
The sampled data will depend on your actual ECU, but typically includes RPM, engine load, throttle position (TPS), oil, air, water temperature, oil pressure, battery voltage, speed, gear and lambda value (air/fuel ratio). The list of available ECU drivers is constantly updated and upgraded, and includes over 1,000 different ECUs.
With the CAN Output, you can also send messages directly to an existing CAN network to improve the range of vehicle control possibilities.
Display & Push Buttons
The Formula Steering Wheel 4 GT320/GT350 has a high contrast 5" TFT display that is fully configurable and resistant to sunlight glare. With the ambient light sensor, the display is easy to read night and day.
The Formula Steering Wheel 4 GT320/GT350 has 10 push buttons and 3 rotary switches, all backlit with RGB LEDs for enhanced usability.
Flexible Alarms
The Aim SW4 GT320/GT350 Formula Steering Wheel has 8 configurable shift light RGB LEDs and 4 configurable alarm RGB LEDs. You can choose the conditions and colours: Select a solid alarm or flashing one, and the flashing frequency. You can also choose to have an accompanying text message and set the alarm priorities.
With integrated shift lights, you can choose from a host of advanced multi-coloured RGB shift light patterns that you can customise to suit your requirements and each unique gear when required.

- Clutch Paddles: Add left and/or right clutch paddles directly from the options at the top of the page to suit your driving style.

How do you install a Formula Steering Wheel in a cockpit?
Regardless of which steering wheel you are most interested in, connecting the Formula 4 Steering Wheel to the vehicle’s ECU is extremely easy. Start by securely mounting the wheel to your vehicle. Once the wheel is in place, you can then connect it to the ECU using the Deutsch connector harness.
After the wheel is in place and connected, Race Studio 3 software can be used to customise display pages, alarms and shift light settings according to your preferences. Please test the setup thoroughly to ensure that all functions are working correctly.
