The Aim Brake/Accelerator Pedal Position Sensor provides precise pedal travel data that can be used to analyse braking technique, consistency, and driver performance. By logging pedal movement from 0–100%, drivers and teams can review braking zones, trail braking, pedal release, and overall driving behaviour to improve lap consistency, coaching, and kart setup analysis.

Designed specifically for karting, the kit includes dedicated brackets, fittings and patch leads for straightforward installation and clean integration. 

The Aim Non-Contact Brake/Accelerator Pedal Position Sensor works by using a magnetic sensor to measure the movement of the pedal without any physical contact between moving parts. A small magnet is mounted to the brake/accelerator pedal, while the sensor itself is fixed to the kart chassis.

As the pedal moves during braking or acceleration, the distance between the magnet and sensor changes, allowing the system to accurately calculate pedal travel. The sensor then sends this data to the Aim MyChron data logger, where pedal position is displayed and logged. This allows drivers and teams to analyse braking input, consistency, trail braking, and pedal usage throughout a lap.
