VDO Pressure Sensor 0-10 Bar 0-145 PSI
The VDO Pressure Sensor monitors the pressure of fluids like engine oil, fuel and water, and has an M10 thread for easy installation in standard pressure ports on engines or fluid systems. It converts the measured pressure into an electrical signal that your Aim dash or data logger can read. The sensor covers a range from 0 to 10 bar (0 to 145 PSI), which is ideal for most engines and racing setups.
Please Note: Do not use the VDO Pressure Sensor to measure brake pressure.
Why Choose the Aim M10 VDO Pressure Sensor
The M10 VDO Pressure Sensor gives you real time, accurate readings, so you can spot pressure drops or spikes before they cause damage. It’s a motorsport-grade sensor, known for its durability and consistent performance, and it integrates directly with Aim data systems for data logging and live display. By using the VDO Pressure Sensor, you can set up alarms for low or high pressure and act before a problem ruins your session or race.
The VDO Pressure Sensor comes with a 45cm cable as standard and ends with a 4-pin binder 719 male connector. Most displays and loggers are fitted with a 719 connection, so to extend the length between most dash display/loggers and the analogue sensor, please use the 719-719 patch lead. For most installations, you will need one of these leads. Some older logger models, such as the EVO4S or Channel Expansion, will require a 712-719 patch lead, all of which are available in various lengths from 0.5-4 metres.
Please Note: Between pins 1 and 4 of the connector, there is a mounted 1.8 kΩ resistor. We recommend that the sensor not be tampered with, or it will not work.
How the VDO Pressure Sensor 0-10 Bar Works
The 0-10 Bar VDO Pressure Sensor is made of a cylinder with an M10 thread that has to be fixed directly to the engine block, and 2 connectors that are for GND and pressure signals. If the engine thread is more significant than the cylinder thread, we suggest using joints.
Install the Aim M10 VDO Pressure Sensor by tightly screwing it into the appropriate pressure port on your engine or fluid system, so that vibrations do not loosen it. Once connected to your Aim logger or dash, it continuously monitors pressure and sends live data to your display. You can watch the pressure in real time, set warning thresholds, and review logged data after each session. This helps you catch issues like oil starvation, fuel delivery problems, or coolant leaks early, protecting your engine and giving you the confidence to push harder on track.
