The Complete OTK Non-Contact Brake Position Sensor Kit is a valuable upgrade for drivers using an Aim MyChron6 because it provides precise brake pedal travel data that can be used to analyse braking technique, consistency, and driver performance.

By logging pedal movement from 0–100%, drivers and teams can review braking zones, trail braking, pedal release, and overall driving behaviour to improve lap consistency, coaching, and kart setup analysis.

 Its non-contact magnetic design is more durable and reliable than traditional contact-style sensors, with no mechanical wear or interference from dirt and vibration. Designed specifically for OTK karts, the kit includes dedicated brackets and fittings for straightforward installation and clean integration. 

The OTK Non-Contact Brake Position Sensor works by using a magnetic sensor to measure the movement of the brake pedal without any physical contact between moving parts. A small magnet is mounted to the brake pedal, while the sensor itself is fixed to the kart chassis. As the pedal moves during braking, the distance between the magnet and sensor changes, allowing the system to accurately calculate pedal travel. The sensor then sends this data to the Aim MyChron 6, where brake position is displayed and logged.

This allows drivers and teams to analyse braking input, consistency, trail braking, and pedal usage throughout a lap.
