Paired with the onboard GPS Module, the system also delivers accurate lap timing and track-mapping capabilities for a complete, race-ready electronics package.

Why Choose the PDM32
The PDM32 is available on its own or with a choice of 5", 6" or 10" dash displays. It also capable of receiving data from the vehicles ECU and even includes a data logger and GPS module for lap timing and track mapping.
With a total continuous max current of 120A, each of the outputs provides feedback to the data logger to provide vital information such as open circuits, short circuits, high/low voltage, the number of fault reties and the time between the reties is user definable. All outputs can be configured as PWM's for a soft start/stop. All of the PDM circuits can be set up and monitored via the Race Studio 3 software.
Removing the need for traditional fuse boxes and relays, it allows for a simplified wiring harness with increased reliability and control functions. - Digital/analogue inputs
- Internal nine-axis EMU
- GPS: For lap time and position

PDM Dash Displays with Race Icons
Aim PDM Displays are suitable for use as replacement units for those supplied with the Aim PDM kits, or as an upgrade for PDM kits that do not include a dash display. The dashes range from 5", 6" or 10” (MXS, MXP or MXT) TFT high-contrast colour displays. The visual quality is optimised by the ambient light sensor, which keeps the backlight at the best brightness levels.
All versions have fully user-configurable displays and offer a range of layouts, and are available with "Road" or "Race" icons. Race icons with this particular kit allow you to apply conditions to the LED icons.
Delta Times
The Delta Times feature provides instant feedback on your performance, showing how your current timing compares to your best.
Set a reference lap and visualise where you are gaining and losing time. The integrated lights will display green or red accordingly.
Integrated Shift Lights & Customisable Alarms
The 10 multi-coloured RGB shift lights can be customised to your liking, defining the RPM threshold on analogue or digital inputs, ECU values, expansion values, math channels or optional GPS option. You can choose the conditions and colours, select a solid arm or a flashing one and the flashing frequency. You can also configure an accompanying text message and set the alarm priorities.
Pre-Configured Pages
The Aim PDM 5" Display can show the RPM scale and all the data you need, like speed, water temperature and oil pressure, lap times and much more. You can customise pages to suit your requirements, including up to four additional fields. Define what data is shown with the end of scale and measure units. Swapping between the pages is easy; just use the push buttons.

Integrate a Reverse Camera
Using a bullet camera, your dash can display what's behind you on screen, just like a reverse camera - ideal for cars with limited rear vision.
You can add up to 2 cameras for both front and rear views.

Free Analysis Software
By connecting an Aim PDM Display to your display - giving it the power to log your data - you can download your data and with Race Studio 3; create, modify, delete, import and export configurations of:
- All channels
- ECU drivers
- Math channels
- Display pages
- Digital outputs
- Alarms
- Shift lights
- Expansions
GPS Options
The GPS09 Module provides easy lap timing and lap position for track mapping. The PDM has over 4,000 racetracks in the database, so once you arrive at the track, the system already knows the timing points so that you can arrive and drive.
Note: The GPS09 Module is available with cable lengths of 0.5m, 1.3m, 2m or 4m to suit different applications. We also have an option for a roof-mounted version which is available with 2m or 4m length cables. Both versions come with a 5-pin 712 male binder connector.

Aim CAN Expansion Keypads
Have your very own selected buttons at your fingertips and gain control over your vehicle with a range of keypads. From simply turning on the engine, the fans or the indicators, to switching gears and more, you can program our range of keypad buttons to ensure seamless performance on the road or on the track.

FAQs
Please read our FAQs page to find out more.
What does a PDM do?
A power distribution module (PDM), sometimes referred to as a power distribution unit, manages and distributes electrical power to various devices such as lights, fans, pumps and more. It replaces the need for physical fuses and relays by integrating programmable circuits, which can be adjusted to suit the specific needs of your vehicle.
What is the best power distribution module?
At Aim, we have 2 PDM modules to suit different vehicle setups: PDM32, which has 32 output channels for more complex setups and PDM08, which has 8 output channels for simpler or compact setups. The 'best' PDM depends on how many outputs you need and the size of the setup.
What are the differences between a PDM08 and a PDM32?
Although the PDM08 and the PDM32 are both power management systems, the main differences are in their capacity and complexity:
- Output Channel: The PDM32 manages 32 circuits, while the PDM08 manages 8.
- Output Types: The PDM32 features 28 high-side outputs and 4 half-bridge outputs, whereas the PDM08 features 8 high-side outputs.
- Capacity: The PDM32 is designed for complex race cars, while the PDM08 is suited for smaller, simpler setups.
- Hardware Configuration: The PDM32 utilises two 35-pin AMP connectors, compared to one 35-pin AMP connector on the PDM08.
- Camera Input: The PDM32 includes two analogue camera inputs to add a rearview mirror camera display.
How do PDMs improve vehicle performance?
PDMs enhance performance by delivering consistent power to critical systems. They allow precise control over when and how devices receive power, ensuring vehicle efficiency and reducing unnecessary electrical draw. The ability to monitor circuits in real time also helps teams quickly diagnose and resolve issues, minimising downtime during races.
Can I add more inputs to the PDM?
The PDM32 has 8 analogue or digital inputs, 4 digital and 2 speed. You can add a CAN Keyboard, giving between 4 and 15 buttons, wireless wheels giving up to 8 buttons and 2 rotary inputs, and RIO modules, which can give 8 high or low inputs and 11 low-only inputs.
How do Aim PDMs work with a GPS Module?
Aim PDMs are specifically made to work with the GPS Module. The PDM integrates with the GPS technology to capture and record lap times during races, providing accurate positioning data that enhances overall performance analysis.
What is the difference between a PDM display with road icons vs a PDM display with race icons?
The features for each PDM display are identical; the only difference between the two icons is the differences in visual cues. PDM displays with road icons are for road-legal vehicles, showing icons like indicators, fog lights and other standard dashboard symbols you'd find in a road vehicle. PDM displays with race icons are more motorsport-specific, providing configurable LED shift lights and programmable lights for instant feedback during track days.
