Aim Sensor de termopar tipo K de temperatura de gases de escape (EGT)

The Aim K Type Thermocouple Temperature Sensor is fitted with a 2-pin male thermocouple connection, and can measure the EGT by being placed in the exhaust header pipe around 150mm from the exhaust pipe. The EGT Thermocouple Sensor has a temperature range of 0-1000°C and a sensor cable length of 25cm, making it ideal for a range of motorsport setups.

Exhaust gas temperature sensors are used to:

• Monitor combustion temperatures in real time, helping you spot lean or rich running conditions that could damage the engine.
• Fine-tune fuel and ignition maps for peak performance and reliability.
• Detect issues like misfires, injector problems, or uneven cylinder performance, especially when using multiple sensors for each cylinder.
• Provide early warning of overheating or dangerous running conditions, allowing you to react before engine damage occurs.

The Aim Exhaust Gas Temperature Sensor consists of a K type thermocouple probe, which is installed directly into the exhaust manifold or header via a threaded bung. As exhaust gases pass over the probe, it generates a small voltage proportional to the temperature of the exhaust gases. This voltage is read by your Aim dash or data logger, which converts it into a temperature value, typically displayed in degrees Celsius.
