Why Choose the Super B Nomada 12V105Ah Battery

Super B Energy Batteries are leaders in advanced lithium battery technology, with a focus on high-performance, long-lasting energy solutions for mobile and stationary systems. The Super B Nomada 12V105Ah Lithium Traction Battery reflects this legacy—engineered for efficient energy storage, designed for high-demand applications and trusted in critical power systems.

The Super B Nomada is a Lithium Iron Phosphate (LiFePO4) Traction Battery, providing 3,500+ cycle lifespan and integrated BMS, making it ideal for various applications due to fast charging, high energy efficiency, and rugged design.

Available Super B Nomada Models

The Nomada 12V105Ah is a modular Lithium Iron Phosphate (LiFePO4) rechargeable battery with a rated capacity of 105Ah. The Nomada Battery is mainly designed for use as a system battery and not as a stand-alone battery.

The Nomada 12V105Ah-LT (low temperature) variant with an internal heater allows charging in ambient temperatures below 0°C. The Super B Nomada 12V105Ah-LT efficiently heats the Li-ion battery using its own energy. Through a well-designed system setup, the battery can be heated without depleting its charge. This eliminates the need for additional cables or heaters.

Integrated BMS

The Super B Nomada 12V105Ah Traction Battery incorporates a battery management system (BMS) to ensure a high level of safety during use. The BMS provides real time protection against overcharging, overheating, short-circuiting and imbalance—ensuring maximum longevity and performance in every charge. The integrated BMS also provides adaptive cell balancing.

Safe & Reliable

Due to its LiFePO4 prismatic cell technology, which is renowned for its exceptional safety, long cycle life, high energy density and integrated BMS system, the Super B Nomada Battery is amongst the safest lithium technologies on the market. As well as the technology, the Nomada Batteries' robust casing is made from PC-ABS with UL94-V0 and an ingress protection rating of IP66. These features make the battery resistant to water and dust, making it a robust, safe and easy-to-use energy storage solution.

High-Performance

One of the key features of the Super B Nomada 12v105Ah Lithium Traction Battery is its impressive energy density. This means that it can store a large amount of energy in a relatively compact package, making it perfect for use in applications where space is at a premium. With a capacity of 105 amp-hours, this battery can deliver the power needed to keep your vehicle running smoothly for extended periods of time.

In addition to its energy density, the Super B Nomada 12v105Ah Lithium Traction Battery is also known for its high level of efficiency. Unlike traditional lead-acid batteries, lithium batteries can deliver power consistently over their entire discharge cycle, without suffering from the voltage drop-off that can occur with other types of batteries. Its low self-discharge (less than 3% per month) ensures that the battery retains its charge, even when not in use—ideal for seasonal applications like camping.

3-Year Warranty

The Super B Nomada 12V105Ah Lithium Traction Battery comes with a 3-year manufacturer warranty and support from Aim Shop’s experienced technical team for your peace of mind. Whether you're building a custom energy setup or upgrading your vehicle's power system, Super B provides batteries that have been engineered and tested against the harshest of environments to ensure high-performance for years to come.

FAQs

Please read our FAQs page to find out more.

How do you download the "Be In Charge" software & app?

Super B provides a Be In Charge Software tool, which can be used to read out the internal BMS system. The software uses a CAN to USB converter to connect to the communication interface. The software is capable of reading out the actual status, like battery/cell voltages and temperature, but also statistical information. Be In Charge software can also be used to update the installed firmware of the Li-ion battery. The Be In Charge software and hardware are not part of the Li-ion battery scope of delivery. Super B also provides a Be In Charge App for mobile devices such as Android and iOS. The app can be found in the Google Play Store or Apple App Store.

How do you install the Nomada Battery in parallel to increase capacity?

To increase the system’s capacity, place the batteries in parallel in the same orientation, as shown in this video. Place the aluminium connection tab over the plus terminal of the first and second batteries, then secure it with the spring washers and M8 bolts. Repeat the process for the other batteries. Place the protective caps over the terminals to avoid any short circuits. Repeat the same process on the minus terminals.

Connect the plus terminal of the first battery in the series and the minus terminal of the last battery to the corresponding cables on the battery interface box. Now connect the CAN cables in the correct position at the top of the batteries. Place the CAN terminator in the open port of the first battery. The remaining open terminal will connect to the battery interface box.

Note: When installing batteries in parallel, always use batteries of the same brand, type, age, capacity and state of charge.

How do you install the Nomada Battery in a series configuration?

To increase the system’s voltage, place the batteries in parallel in alternating positions, as shown in this video. Place the aluminium connection tab over the minus terminal and the plus terminal of the first and second batteries, then secure it with the spring washers and M8 bolts. Repeat the process for the other batteries. Place the protective caps over the terminals to avoid any short circuits. Repeat the same process on the remaining batteries.

Now connect the CAN cables in the correct position at the top of the batteries. Place the CAN terminator in the open port of the first battery. The remaining open terminal will connect to the battery interface box. The plus terminal of the first battery and the minus terminal of the last battery in the series should be connected to the corresponding cables on the battery interface box.

Note: When installing batteries in series, always use batteries of the same brand, type, age, capacity and state of charge.
