IVA-MOT Approved with Wiring Loom Options
Aim IVA MOT Approved Dash Display Kits offer a simple, road legal solution for all Race Car, Kit Car and Motorcycle builders. Each kit comes with an ECU loom to connect all engine and lighting functions and software to configure it.
All of our dashes is bundled with the same functionalities, but offer three different sizes to suit your vehicle cockpit size: MXS Strada 5", MXP Strada 6" and the MXG Strada 7" wide for maximum display. There is also the additional option of a reversing camera.
Easy Connection
Connecting the IVA MOT Approved dashes to your vehicles ECU is simple. You can sample and display dozens of channels straight from the vehicles ECU. This is usually the quickest and easiest setup, needing only 2 cable connections to the ECU instead of multiple connections to analogue sensors.
As well as the standard 14 pin wiring loom (included in the kit) there is a choice of CAN or OBDII, K-Line and the kit also comes with an additional 23 pin loom which has pre-configured connections for all the main relevant electrical items in your vehicle. These are oil, temperature, fuel level, sidelights, hazards, front and rear fog, handbrake, main beam, dipped beam and left and right-hand indicator. A speed sensor is also included in the kit to connect to this additional loom.
Digital Outputs
The Dash/Displays have configurable digital outputs to be activated/deactivated depending on the value of the analogue/digital inputs or on the impulses coming from the ECU. This allows you to automatically run external systems, such as switching on/off additional lights, to activate/deactivate a cooling fan or circulation pumps when a certain event happens.
With CAN Output you can send messages directly to an existing CAN network to improve the range of vehicle control possibilities.
