Boost Pressure Sensor 0-5 Bar

The Aim Absolute Boost Pressure Sensor 0-5 Bar is designed to measure the absolute pressure in your intake manifold, measuring the gas pressure within a system up to 5 bars, which is critical for monitoring and tuning turbocharged or supercharged engines in motorsport environments.

When dealing with an Absolute Pressure Sensor, or a Manifold Absolute Pressure (MAP) sensor, there is one key difference: it measures pressure relative to a perfect vacuum, not relative to the air around us. This means that even when the engine is off, the sensor will still show a reading (atmospheric pressure).

Why Choose the Aim Boost Pressure Sensor

Most stock vehicle boost sensors are often slow to react and low resolution, offering limited logging. The Aim Absolute Boost Pressure Sensor is a high-resolution, fast responding, reliable sensor, making it the perfect upgrade for anyone serious about keeping their turbo engine in good health and running boost to its most efficient level.

The Aim Absolute Boost Pressure Sensor is available with -3 JIC (3/8-24 UNF) or M10 thread options and is fitted with a male 4-pin 719 binder connector to suit all Aim loggers and dash displays.

How the Boost Pressure Sensor Works

In real-world racing, the Aim Absolute Boost Pressure Sensor 0-5 Bar is typically installed in the intake manifold or a dedicated port where it can read the total air pressure (both atmospheric and boost from forced induction). The sensor outputs a voltage signal proportional to the pressure it detects, which is then read by your Aim data logger or dash (like the MXS, MXP, or MXG series). Please read the depression to -1 bar about atmospheric pressure and absolute pressure up to 5 bars.

Absolute boost pressure sensor is available in PSI or Bar variants

0-5 Bar Absolute Pressure Sensor

The Absolute Boost Pressure Sensor allows you to detect fluid and air pressures. It offers a high level of reliability and endurance and is protected against the high vibration, shock and high temperatures found in motorsport.

These pressure sensors are available with a choice of PSI and Bar variants.

The Aim boost pressure sensor is available with terminated and unterminated connectors for compatibility with external manufacturers

Compatible with MoTeC, Bosch & More

We also offer unterminated sensors that are designed to work seamlessly with Bosch, MoTeC, Cosworth, or other manufacturer hardware, making it easy for you to integrate the reliable and efficient Aim Pressure Sensors into any setup.

The Aim boost pressure sensor is expandable with ACC3, Aim displays and display loggers, XLog, Data Hub and more

Expand Your System

You can expand your system with a range of products from the ACC3 Analogue CAN Converter, Displays, Loggers, Data Hubs and more.

To extend the length between a dash display/logger and an analogue pressure sensor, you will need a 719-719 patch lead, available in lengths between 0.5m and 4m.
