The AIM MXsl Dash Display is an evolution of the hugely successful MXS Strada Dash Display, which is one of the most widely used racing dash displays used on tracks and streets all over the world. The MXsl has a 5″ compact colour display which is configurable to show all the info coming from your Engine Control Unit (ECU), analogue / digital inputs, pre-defined math channels and the optional GPS Module.
The main addition to the Aim MXsl is the inbuilt power module. Offering 10 high power outputs that can be used to directly power components such as motors, lights, fans, pumps and other electrical devices without the need to use conventional relays and fuses. The unit can also detect short circuits, overcurrents and open circuits while recording them for later diagnosis. The error information can also be displayed on the dash if required. Each power output can also be configured to be activated by a combination of math channels, analogue/digital inputs, pushbuttons or ECU fields.
Besides the new power module capabilities, the Aim MXsl dash retains all of the well-proven data logging and dash display functions as found in the MXS Strada as detailed below.
High contrast TFT display
The Aim MXsl has a high contrast TFT display which features an optimised backlighting system by using an ambient light sensor. This helps to maintain the optimum brightness for reading the display in all light levels. As with other AIM dash displays, the data which is shown on the screen can be configured to show the precise information that the driver needs the most. Multiple pages are also available to display further data and can be switched using the buttons on the dash or by wiring to a standalone button. Data which can be displayed include graphical dials for speed and RPM as well as vital engine parameters such as oil pressure/temperature, water temperature, battery voltage and more.
At the top of the unit, there is a row of fully configurable shift lights which can be set according to the user's specific requirements including individual RPM thresholds for each gear and the colour of the LEDs
Monitor data in pre-configured pages
the Aim MXsl shows, together with the RPM scale, all the data you need, like speed, water temperature and oil pressure, lap times and much more… you can choose the custom pages you wish – including up to four additional fields – among a wide library of page styles, defining which data to be shown, their end of scale and measure units. Swapping between the pages is easy using the push buttons.
Flexible shift lights and alarms: The ten multi-coloured RGB shift lights can be customised to your liking, defining the RPM threshold for every single gear. The same flexibility applies to the configurable RGB alarm LEDs: you can configure them to turn them on/off depending on analogue or digital inputs, ECU values, expansion values, math channels or – optionally – GPS information. You choose conditions and colours: select a solid alarm or flashing one – and the flashing frequency. It is also possible to configure an accompanying text message and set the alarm priorities.
With the CAN Output, you can send messages directly to an existing CAN network to improve the range of vehicle control possibilities.
Digital output: MXsL features a 1 amp digital output configurable to be activated/deactivated depending on the value of the analogue/digital inputs or on impulses coming from the ECU. This allows you to automatically run external systems, i.e. to switch on/off additional lights, to activate/de-activate a cooling fan or circulation pumps etc when a certain event happens.

GPS08 Module – Thanks to GPS08 Module and Race Studio 3 software, you can immediately get lap times and all data needed for engine tuning as well as for improving driving techniques.
Channel Expansion – Add up to 4 0-5 Volt analogue channels.
TC Hub – Add up to 4 K thermocouples.
LCU-One Lambda Controller – Wide band Lambda controller LCU-One, with Bosch LSU 4.9 probe, providing all Air/Fuel data, lambda value and exhaust gas temperature, allows to perfectly tune the carburetion.
SmartyCam HD / GP HD – Compact and robust HD camera / HD Bullet-cam – both designed for motorsports.
